Update on St. Francis School

St. Francis School is centrally located in Koramangala near Seva Sadan. The school has State Board syllabus. When I first landed in Bangalore, they had started the ICSE school as well. They have a junior college attached to it as well and a huge playground.

Syllabus: State Board and ICSE
Location: St. Francis School and PU College

Kormangala 3rd Block,
Bangalore -560034
Phone: 080-25531076, 25500123

Admission: You have to go in person to collect forms, sometime around December,January.

Update: Admissions are now open for 2010-2011 for nursery

Website: http://stfrancispucollege.com/ (for the State board section)
http://stfrancisschoolicse.com/ ( for ICSE section)

email: st.francis@rediffmail.com
enquiry@stfrancisschoolicse.com

Classes: In ICSE: Nursery to 10th
In State Board: till PUC
Fees: Annual tution fees(all inclusive) is around 12K for ICSE section. For new admissions, maybe the admission fee or development fees might be around 30 to 35K.

Started in 2000 by the Congregation of the Francisian brothers, the academics seems to be good (got this feedback from a friend). A good environment and less fees.

  1. The interview process for nursery is conducted similar to a campus recruitment process. It would be too hectic for a child of approx 2.6 years.
    Attitude of principal is horrible.

  2. In my view this school is best for academic excellence and the fees structure charged is pretty competent. It is not like other schools who charges exorbitantly. I see no issues with the principal or the teaching staff. Being an academic institution I found the principal of the school is quite considerate and cooperative. It is expected from academic institutions to follow a discipline which in my view this school does pretty well. I always found that problems what so ever are addressed by the school pretty well. I have my 2 kids studying in this school. So far I am happy with the school.

  13. Parents I wanted to share my experience of this school. ST FRANCIS SCHOOL KORAMANGALA.
IT WAS HORRIBLE. I applied for KG admission and was waiting for the interaction call. When i did not receive i went to the school to enquire and was shocked at what they said. They told me that the admission process is over and you have missed the interaction date when they had not even called for interaction.
The office staff Sunitha even had the audacity to maintain false records that she called the parents.
I was shocked and even the principal was supporting the lieing staff.
I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL TO ANYONE. TOMORROW THEY MAY LIE ABOUT YOUR CHILD TOO.
