Admissions to class 11th in Sri Kumaran Children's Home

Sri Kumaran Children's Home is issuing applications for class 11th for its CBSE school. Those who are to appear in ICSE or CBSE class 10th exams in March 2010, can apply.

They have mentioned there a few vacant seats for other classes also.

Update: The final list of class 1 students for CBSE and ICSE was put up on Sri Kumaran's site and SMS sent on January 29th and 30th respectively, 2010.
* Number of students selected in CBSE: 113 (this translates to vacant no. of seats)
* Number of students selected in ICSE:  18

Remark: As a future reference I am updating admission details already taken place and yet to take place. Hope this helps others looking for admissions next year also.

Admissions for SSLC: both campuses of Kumaran's ( only Doddakalasandra Branch has transport, not the Tata Silk Farm campus)
Eligibilty: Class 1, 6 years as on June 1st, 2010 and respectively for other classes.
Language: Classes 1 to 3, English and Kannada (compulsory),
Class 4 to 7 : third language option is Hindi/Sanskrit
Class 8 to 10: I language –Sanskrit / Kannada / English (Option)
II Language – English / Kannada
III language – Hindi/ Kannada

Important Dates:
1. November 9th to November 20th 2009-Application forms available for classes I to VII from website

2. November 25th 2009 - Last date for submission of duly completed application forms
3. December 5th 2009 List of students selected for test will be displayed on website
4. January 9th 2010 Entrance test at Doddakallasandra campus

5. January 30th 2010 List of students selected for admission will be displayed on website

6. February 1st & 2nd 2010 Picking up the admission letter with fee and other details from Doddakallasandra campus

7. March 29th and 30th 2010 Application forms available for classes VIII and IX from website only.

8. April 5th 2010 Entrance test at Doddakallasandra campus

9. April 15th 2010 List of students selected for admission will be displayed on website.

10. April 17th 2010 Picking up the admission letter with fee and other details from Doddakallasandra campus
