Chrysalis High in Varthur

Anyone planning to visit Chrysalis High in Varthur Road? I had been travelling through the road and seeing all the posters of Chrysalis High, thought of having a look at it. The team at Chrysalis High have been part of the Vibgyor High setups.

The school is in the Varthur main Road itself and construction is going on. No compound yet and only the front building is coming up now. The structure is quite compact considering they are taking in students from nursery to Class 7. The picture shown in the website is sure to become reality only after two years.

The address is:
Chrysalis High
Sy. No. 219/3 & 219/5, Varthur Main Road,

Bangalore – 560087

Mobile: 88610 63812
Land Line: 0091-80-4169 0434
Website: www.chrysalishigh.com

Considering that things are not in place, the fees looks high.
For grades 1 to 7 approx. Tuition fees is 48K and Annual fees is around 24K. Bus fees will be greater than 15K and uniform, shoes is not included. As also cafe meals.

  5. I have also taken my daughter's admission there. Their curriculum is very good. Was very impressed. The building is under construction but looking at the last 2 months progress (we visit the school once a month to chck), it should be ready by Feb/March.

  6. I was really impressed with the management (i.e) Director & Principal who did make an effort to walk through the vision & mission of the school. Also the teachning methodology looks quite different as compared to other schools where they are making use of smart boards to make the lessons more interactive to children. Focus on other softskills in addition to studies is also another interesting thing noted during our interaction. Overall looks very promising.

  7. My two cents to Chrysalis High, Management is very helpful, I am quite impressed with their currciulum and prinicpal's involvement. They have already worked in Vibgyor. So bring with them great experience. Regarding faculty they have emphasized that they will only take quality teachers and they will be further trained as part of their program Chisel.Various programs for kids like Chapms, Pupa and ECHO are unique.

  8. We know how important it is for kids to learn proper English, so my concern is more about the teaching staff of any school. Does Chrysalis have English teachers from abroad? or Do their teachers use British.R.P.? please share any information regarding this.

  9. We dropped by to chrysalis high to enquire regarding admission for our son, and had the unfortunate experience of meeting the principal - mrs. archana. She was outright rude and had tons of attitude. Wonder how a person like this can lead a school. We have decided against chrysalis because of this.

  10. we had too got a bad experience by meeting the school principal, she is rude and her attitude is unbearable.

  11. transportation is pathetic and management asked to deal with drivers directly. Drivers say speak to school management. doesn't understand school is driven by drivers or management?
On top of this study is no where.

  12. Is this CBSE or ICSE schoold?

  13. I had a good experience with the School Prinicipal Ms. Archana at Chryalis high and felt far better in attitude compared to the earlier one Gopalan National School Ms.Sandhya Raman.
I beleive in fetching good character and morale to the kids than the syllabus. Its obivious that the children's character reflects from their parents and teachers.I felt this school can help me in moulding my son as a better human being. Those who look for this can definetely opt for this school.

  14. I had a horrified experienced dealing with her in Vibygor and cant expect good attitude from her. A big no this school. Parents, we aware and careful for your childs putting in this school.

  15. I'm very happy with the way my child is blossoming at inventure academy what I dislike/detest is Preet Benjamin's attitude and gutka eating habit at the premises of this wonderful school. She does not pay attention during the parents teacher meeting… very high attitude and the way she treats the parents is not acceptable. Don’t know what management team is doing to handle such issues. Such a wonderful school and the name is spoiled because of only few teachers like “Preet”.

    ReplyDelete
  16. We went to this school for my kids. At first I was impressed, but slowly the cloud moved away and was shocked to see this lady called Preet Benjamin who is supposedly one of the founding members who speaks with so much attitude chewing ghutka all the way not respecting their own school. And they talk great of their philosophy. Am pulling my kids out after a horrifying experience

  17. My son has been going to Chrysalis for the last 3 months. He has just blossomed with the individual attention & the efforts of the teachers & the principal. He has won a medal in the chess tournament & also participated in the independence day function (which was so meticulously planned!). Biggest surprise is that he has forgotten his old playschool in no time (which was our biggest worry). The principal, Mrs. Archana, all the teachers & even the receptionist are all to gentle & warm with the kids. A must see school for any parent who does not want a conventional school! I wonder if some of the posts here are by vested interests. Do not get carried away by these posts (including mine :) Proof of the pudding is in eating it. So, check all schools for yourself. That time is worth spending now than spending it each year, changing the school of your child!

    ReplyDelete
  18. I agree with you. I think people here are not commenting out of experience, but out of malice:).Go and visit the school and then talk about it.

  19. So!! after shifting from Delhi and post scouting for schools in Bangalore we "stumbled" upon - literally at Chryasalis High - well on the outside the school looks alright since the work is still being done - but the moment we opened the doors and walked it - the entire experience has been WONDERFUL. From the receptionist to the staff - everybody was was "warmly courteous" unlike Greenwood High or even Inventure - where they behave as though they are doing us a favour by teaching our children. I rarely gush, but if there's an educationist who has her foundation right - PLEASE GO AND MEET Ms. Archana - the principal. The in-depth knowledge - the passion she has for the children - the staff is humbling. (made me want to apply for a job there - even though I am an IT exec) Our daughter and son join for 2013 and we know they are in the right hands. For anyone reading this review - pay a visit even if your children are studying anywhere and just drop in for an experience. You won't regret it. - A happy parent!!

  20. Visited the Chrysalis school that is coming up in Yelahanka new town. I am looking for my son for LKG. The building is still under construction and when checked they said it would be ready by March'13. I am quite impressed with the kind of methodology they are implementing. But just worried since 2013 would be their first academic year in that area. Not sure how it gonna be. So do any of the parent have checked the school and can I have your views on selecting it.

  21. My views on Chrysalis Yelahanka. Visited them this morning and had the chance of meeting Ms. Veena Mani. Came across as a calm and keen to listen women. The school is under construction and is expected to complete by April'13. It comes across a really rounded off syllabus with focus on sports and academics. For eg: they make their own tailor made books which are carved out for what they want. My votes on the following grounds

    (i) Infrastructure - 4/5
(ii) Teaching staff - The big unknown. But would expect them to maintain their Varthur school standards, at the least
(iii) Fees - Quite affordable in comparison to other schools
(iv) Curriculum - 5/5 for the focus on both academics, understanding child's needs and grooming

I am inclined with this school and moreover assume that a new school will take the extra effort, care and groom children - that's possibly their only way to grow and succeed.

  22. can any one please let me know about the fees structure of this school for Nursery as my fits in that.

  23. We have visited Chrysalis high ,Yelahanka yesterday and had a chance to met with Mr.Sawal Das ,MD of the school and we are satisfied with the way he deals with the parents. I am sure that every school has the meriets and demerits but it depends on the parents what they what from the childerns? I personaly know so many parents associated with VSA,JHS,Bridge and etc so called good schools of bangalore but they are not 100% confident about the school and have some complains about the schools/stuffs and etc. We have decided to put my daughter in the Chrysalis high Yelahanka and we recommend parents to atleast visit once beofre going through any personal good or bad comments.

    Regards,
    Vishal

  26. Fee of Chrysalis is Rs. 66,000 per year for Nursery & KG (including books & field trips, Rs. 33,000 to be paid during admission, rest later) & Rs. 80,000 for Grade I (including books, stationery, field trips & sports fee, Rs. 40,000 to be paid during admission, rest later).I have been contemplating on the school for some time but looking at the responses above, I guess I will go ahead & admit my children in Yelahanka branch :) Thank you all.

  27. Hi,

I have already made my daughters admission in Chryssalis High, Yelankha branch. Being first year in Yelankha, we need to wait and watch the performance. But seems to be promising. Better than any of the schools in surroundings of yelankha

On request to move the bus. above driver misbehaved with female car driver also when she crossed him ,he tried tohit the car of female driver also in rage overspeed the school bus followed by sudden brake with the jerk to kids in bus.School management is informed about this through written complain, but no response have been received by school so far.God bless those children who are travelling to this school as school authority is least interested it seems about safety of kids coming to there school.

  31. I would like to inform the person who has written the above post that we have already warned the driver.

In fact Chrysalis High is one of the few Schools which has GPS installed in the buses and device to check over speeding .

In case you have any other thing to share, please write to principal@chrysalishigh.com.

    Regards

  32. This is to inform the concerned person that action against the driver was taken immediately.

In fact Chrysalis High is one of the few Schools which has GPS and over speeding device fitted in all the buses.

In case of any other issue, please feel free to write to the Principal whose mail id is available on the website.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Dear Sir/Ma'am,

Based on the mail which was received, the issue was escalated the same day to the principal & director who took strict action against the driver immediately. The driver was taken off duty for a week & given strict warning not to repeat it.

Chrysalis High takes pride in being one of the only schools to have GPS installed in all the buses to monitor the buses & drivers, including rash driving, over speeding etc. on a daily basis. We assure you that the incident you have mentioned is just a one off case. All drivers of Chrysalis High are trained on driving as well as courtesy.

If you would still like to communicate on this, please feel free to mail at principal@chrysalishigh.com or director@chrysalishigh.com

  34. This bus no. KA-51,b-3456 does not belong to Chrysalis High.

Children safety is our prime motto so to ensure this, we have all the buses installed with GPS systems that can alert parents through SMS when the bus leaves from school, when it reaches the point or if there's any delay due of traffic jams. Not only that we even record the movement of the bus, including over-speeding and unauthorized stops through the GPS tracking system and if we find anything suspicious, we take severe action against drivers and maids.

  35. Hey, I would like to know the review about Chrysalis High Kadugodi Road

  36. Dear Sir/Ma’am,

My name is Sawaldas Jethani & I am the trustee of Chrysalis High school. I am not sure what process you adopt for verifying the posts people publish on your website but the above post (Anonymous, December 11, 2013 at 5.46 pm) is absolutely wrong & seems to be posted just to cause harm to the reputation of our school without a bit of truth in it.
The biggest proof is that Chrysalis High does not even have a bus with registration no. KA-51, B-3456. You are more than welcome to verify the same directly. This post seems to be published by someone with the sole intention of spoiling the name of our institution.

Chrysalis High has a robust training program for the drivers to ensure they are not driving rashly & are always courteous with students, parents & other people moving on the road. Chrysalis High is one of the very few schools in the country which has GPS installed in all its buses to ensure drivers are not over speeding & parents are able to track the bus at all times.

You are requested to either remove the false post immediately or post our rebuttal.

    Regards,

    Sawaldas Jethani

PS – In case an appropriate action is not taken within 3 working days, we would be left with no other option but to file a police complaint for trying to damage our name without any verification & also take suitable legal course as per the advice of our legal counsel. You are free to interact with us on my personal mail id listed above or with our legal department directly at legal@chrysalishigh.com

  37. The comments probably from chrysalishigh posted as Anonymous are confusing...the post on dec 21,2013 states that the driver was warned and punished...which means the bus existed....but...the post on Dec 30,2013 states that there is no such bus...then.... driver of which bus was warned and punished?

    ReplyDelete
  38. I am confused as well. It appears to me that they want to protect their online image (first) and posted that they scolded the guy and started talking about GPS.

After further inquiry, they figured it wasn't their bus in the first place and posted again.

To avoid confusion, at least school management should post using their accounts and not as anonymous.

  39. Hello, Please do not trust the concept of PUPA. concept is really good if they follow it. we had a trust on that concept and joined my son. We just found recently they are not at all following PUPA. PUPA is only in the records and school records. Another interesting thing in Chrysalishigh is no guarante on teachers, they will change any time during the accodimic year. I do not recommend this school at all.

    Thanks

  40. Hi,
Iam also looking for CBSE School for my son for I std. I have been visiting many schools in Varthur Area. Visited schools Vagdevi vilas,Chistiya, chrysalis, Vahe Global, SSrvm.
Out this i had felt Vahe Global Academy is good. They seem to have enough extra curricular activities as part of the sylabbus. All children take part in all the activities . there is no option given .So i thought kids get to learn a bit of everything .They have the CBSE Curriculum.
Mainly what I liked is big playground that they have ( for how long they will retain we cant say though!) At least for now it is there..
It is not local also, it is not too high end like the Schools such as oakridge, greenwood, where the fees is so unaffordable.
I met Mr hajra who is the dean and well experienced and it was a very interesting conversation that i had with him.
For the 1st std the fees is 87000/- + transport + cafeteria( in case we opt for it) .
The Fees seems to be affordable..In case you have heard any thing about the school do let me know.
