St Peter's School

A new ICSE School on Sarjapur road is St. Peter's School. I had made a mistake about the details of the school earlier so I have edited this post.

Syllabus: ICSE
Location: St. Peter's School
56/58 , Kaikondrahalli, (After Total Mall)

Before Wipro Corporate Office,
Sarjapur Main Road
Bangalore- 560 035
Phone:080-64506540 , 28441079‎

email: stpetersschool@yahoo.com
Admissions: Admissions for 2010 have started. A board states that admission to montessori is done the year round.
Activities: Dance, Music, Arts & Crafts, Yoga,  Sports

Remark: The school building is a massive one, all in white and is hard to miss. Opposite to Total Mall, a few metres from it.
It belongs to the St. Lawrence Education trust.

Anyone has their kids admitted here? Then do share your experience.

  1. Are there any schools in Bangalore with ICSE syllabus and where the fees are reasonable around 25k. In which area are such schools located. I plan to move to Bangalore shortly. Will look for apts accordingly. Thanks for your help.

  2. Hi Sandhya,
Waited for someone to answer. If you are looking down South near Hosur Road, maybe you can try Lawrence School. If CBSE is not an issue you can check out JSS Public Schools or Sadhguru Sainath.

  3. My daughter got admitted in 2008 in lkg this year they informed me that 1st grade students will be doing the work in half the time than last years students were given as they are reducing the school hours from 8:30 - 3:00 to from 9:30 - 1:15. I think it is unfair to take all the fun out of school put so much presure. Trying to remove her now but it is difficult to get any admission in April anywhere.

  4. We are planning to consider St Peter school for our daughter admission in nursery for 2013. Need feedback about the school?

  5. This school is academics oriented, but they have a system of giving written exam to 3.6yrs old kids for getting an admission to LKG. I really don't understand the rationale behind this. This doesn't make any sense, hope the management will understand this.

  7. Hi Anonymous,

I have my daughters studying in St Peter's school from the last 4 years and we have been very happy with the school so far.

    Positives
    - A non-nonsense school with focus on education and overall development of the child
    - Fees are reasonable and they have all the facilities that the fancy schools offer. Massive building, airy rooms, good student- teacher ratio, play ground, we maintained garden etc
    - The teachers my daughters had till date we very good and have provided very good feedback during our parents-teachers meet.
    - my daughters are doing pretty well
    - the competitions whether cultural or sports are well planned and executed. The best of them is the science exhibition
    - Good transport facility. We live in HSR layout
    - this school is part of St Xaviers trust and runs some very popular schools like Cambridge international in Mangalore and other cities
    - though the name may be misleading, this is not a church run school and the management is serious about education and include all strata of the society (elite club members may object to this).
    - Discipline is given utmost priority and unauthorized persons are not allowed to enter the school premises

    Areas of improvement
    - Need to introduce technology like SMS service when schools are shut down due to strikes, bunds, other unplanned holidays
-Introduce open parents meeting to discuss areas of improvement with management and principal
-Introduce security cameras (I think they are already planning for this) to enhance security in wake of recent incidents

    Thanks
    Dominic
