Till recently I was not aware that the ground in front of Lawrence School, HSR Layout, belonged to the BBMP. I had seen the news on TV, just when vacation started and I wanted to post on it.
The ground it seems was being used by the nearby youth for sports in the evenings and by the school in the mornings. BBMP was thinking of revamping and converting the ground into a park and it ran into some trouble over the issue.
Also BBMP play grounds are being used by schools like Bethany ( now its been converted to a park of sorts) and SishuGriha.

Sri Kumarans, Vibgyor High, Lawrence Admission 2010-2011
Hope those of you keen on NPS primary have got your applications. Last date is over.
I just saw that Sri Kumaran's Children's Home, last date for online application submission is November 1st, 2009.

Lawrence School (ICSE)
I had been looking around a school with easy admission options. This school is situated in HSR Layout and has a ground opposite to it. Found the environment friendly.
Syllabus: ICSE
Location: No. CA3, 9th Main Road, HSR Layout, Sector-6

Admission: If there is a rush,they conduct entrance tests, otherwise its easy to get admissions. Admissions start in January of the year.
Fees: There is a different fee structure for new entrants and old students. About 35K for a year. You can find the fee structure in the website.
Class Strength: 25-30
Second language: Hindi, Kannada
Extra curricular activities: Integrated into the timetable, so no after school hours. They have karate, yoga, dance,music, craft. Also has club activities.
