Admissions: You have apply through the office and admission test will be conducted. Application form are available online.

Classes available for 2013-2014 are from Montessori,KG, Class 1 till class 8. It might be still affiliation is in progress, since they have not got their class 10 yet. It's better to check with the school.

Activities: Yoga, music, craft, cookery. Basketball, throw ball, volleyball, table tennis, Chess and badminton.

Class 12 CBSE Results 2011 (Part 3)

The CBSE results of Class 12 students of National Hill View Public School and National Public School (NPS) Indiranagar, Bangalore are shown here.

National Hill View School has very less students appearing for the exam and they have only Science stream. NPS - Indiranagar has larger number of students and they have 3 streams of study. The number of students writing English paper will give you the total number of students appearing for the exam.

Admissions to Class 11 in NPS - stream selection

I had been talking to few parents, well I am always talking of school info with them I guess. Many of them I talked to had kids in good schools with no stress and no tension. But they feel for higher classes they want a more academic and rigourous approach. They want their kids to have less fun and more study and their choice is NPS. But one thing that deters them is the high fee structure, but they are willing to shell out more in higher classes for the sake of better marks.

Well for those of you planning on NPS ( National Public School ), here's what you might need to know. For admissions to class 11, it's another process once again. They don't seem to take the Class 10 board exams into consideration. They have their own set of 3 board-model exams. The average of the marks you score in them is taken for choice of streams in class 11. So kids doing well in board but not in their exams may lose out on joining the stream of their choice.

Another thing is that NPS has its own set of text-books and its board level text-books are said to be very tough.

National Public School

The National Education trust started its first National Public School (NPS) in Rajaji Nagar in 1959 followed by NPS, Indira Nagar in 1982 and NPS, Koramangla in 2003. The International School Bangalore (TISB) and National Academy for Learning (NAFL) are sister concerns. NPS, HSR Layout is the newly started branch in 2009.

Admissions: Registration and issue of applications start in October. NPS schools have started issuing forms for 2010-2011. Each branch follows its own dates. You have to contact in person.
Admission for Grade 1 to 9 and 11 is based on written test.
The admission procedure is totally opaque.

Fees: Each NPS has its own fee structure. NPS Rajaji Nagar is about 50K whereas HSR branch is above 65K. Check out with the school for details.

Activities: Music, dance, aerobics, theatre, vocals etc. These are conducted after school hours from 3rd standard.

Academics: Only from grade 6, semester system starts. For lower classes, monthly reviews are undertaken. For KG, daily evaluation is conducted.

Remarks: NPS is known to be more academically oriented. NPS Rajaji Nagar has been granted autonomy by the CBSE board.
The admission process is not transparent. It is better schools post details on their website than having to curse the recptionists.
Having applied to NPS once, they never called for interviews (for LKG) . When we kept asking them, they just kept telling us, we will inform. One fine day, they respond admissions are over.

NPS HSR and Rajaji Nagar; NAFL (Admission 2010-2011)

National Public School in HSR Layout and Rajaji Nagar have started issuing application forms KG for 2010-2011. Their sister concern National Academy for Learning (NAFL) has already started issuing too. Trying to give a call is elicting no response.
